We, at Startup Canada Ltd., together with our affiliated companies (collectively: “Startup Canada”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) put great efforts to make sure that we secure personal data related to you and use it properly.

We provide an AI-powered platform that helps to develop, launch, and manage a business, and that includes logo design and branding capabilities, including but not limited to the ability to create and manage a logo, website, domain name, business mailbox, digital business card, and graphic designs (such as presentations, social tools, and other marketing materials); purchase printing branded products; engage with our experts to access premium features in the platform; and, where applicable, manage compliance aspects of a business, including the ability to submit a limited liability company and trademark registration applications (collectively, our “Services”).

This Startup Canada general privacy policy (this “policy” or “privacy policy”) applies when we process personal data related to you when you visit our website, use our Services, become our affiliate, or contact us.

We supplement this general policy with specific disclosures related to territorial laws, as follows:

3.1. We do not sell, rent, or lease personal data related to you.

3.2. We share personal data related to you with certain employees, and external consultants, within our corporate group, and with our affiliates, who are all governed by this policy.

3.3. We share personal data related to you with our business partners and with our service providers. For example: 3.3.1. Data Storage. We share personal data related to you with our data storage service providers for data hosting and security purposes. 3.3.2. Marketing and Business Development. We share information with digital marketing providers, social media and advertising companies, market research partners, potential customers and venues, event organizers and registration providers, and other trusted service providers who assist us with the performance of our marketing activities. 3.3.3. Sales, Finance, Business Operations and Delivering Service. We use (a) third-party sales tools to track pipeline activity and order information, (b) finance and invoicing tools to assist in managing orders, customer billing, and fulfillment, (c) legal and compliance tools to assist in our contracting and compliance activities, (d) consultants, contractors, and other specialists to provide professional services, and (e) collection agencies to facilitate collection of due amounts; and (f) other service providers which support our business operations.
